To tell you too much may ruin the experience - but Escape Plan LIVE is an immersive mystery in which you find your group trapped in a situation from which you have an hour to escape by finding clues and solving puzzles until you free your group. Any specific concerns should be emailed to us so we can put your mind at rest.

The only way to book Escape Plan LIVE is in advance and online; to do so, go to the ‘TICKETS’ section where you’ll find a link to our booking system.

Please arrive at least 10 minutes before your start time so that we are able to brief you, immerse you in the story, and to ensure you get your full game.

For the games based at the Pentagon Shopping Centre there are two meeting area. Please ensure you go to the correct one.

For games WITHIN the Pentagon Centre opening hours: Please enter the shopping centre and make your way towards the first floor toilets and wait for your Games Master in this vicinity. This slightly odd meeting point is for two very good reasons. Firstly, this gives you chance to use the facilities before your game as they are a few minutes walk away so it’s best to do what you need to do before we start the briefing. Secondly, the games are very difficult for guests to locate, and so an easy-to-find area from which you can be collected and escorted to the game has proved helpful.

For games OUTSIDE Pentagon Centre opening hours: Please park at the Town Hall car park in Whiffen’s Avenue and email Info@EscapePlanLive.com on arrival and you’ll be collected for your game. See here for a map. This is because access to the Shopping Centre is closed to the public after hours, so you’ll need to be accompanied to the game.

For games based at the St. George Hotel: Please enter the hotel and relax in the reception area as your Games Master will come and collect you from there.

Please do your very best to arrive at least 10 minutes before the start time of the game you have booked to help us run Escape Plan LIVE efficiently. We know that occasionally circumstances beyond our control delay even the best of us, and we will always do our best to help where possible - however we will not start games late when this may affect guests already playing, or those booked after you - so please allow plenty of time for travel and parking as we cannot refund your booking if you arrive too late to play it.

While you have an hour to find the clues, keys and codes to escape, you should allow 10 minutes before the game for the organisers to brief you, set the scenario and take your FREE* Escape Plan LIVE digital group photo, and 5 minutes after the game for a debrief.

* Please note your digital photo is free to be downloaded from the Escape Plan LIVE facebook page within approximately 1 week of your game taking place so long as you give us permission for it to be used for promotional purposes. If you do not wish us to use the photo or for it to be available via Facebook, you must make this clear to staff upon arriving at the venue.

You can play with teams of between 2 and 12 players, however the player numbers vary depending on which venue you choose.

At our Pentagon Shopping Centre venue you can book for groups of up to 12 players, however our game ‘KIDNAPPED: CAPTIVE AUDIENCE’ is designed to be a group activity, and so 4 players is the minimum number of people you can book for.

At our St. George Hotel venue you can book for 2–6 players. Should you wish to add more players, please email us as this may be possible depending on your group.

The per player price reduces with every extra person you add, and for larger parties, team-building, or corporate events please email us as you can book games to run consecutively… you can then compare escape times for an added competitive edge!

For special large group or corporate bookings, we have various discounts and offers available (see our 'CORPORATE' page for details). Please contact us for a quote and availability if you want to go large.

Ok, this is tricky as we don’t like to exclude anybody and want everyone to have a good time - however certain games do have age restrictions due to their theme, so please check each specific game before booking. Most of our games are suitable for families though, and years of experience and test events suggest anyone over the age of 8 will engage with and enjoy the games, however younger children have proven themselves to be valuable team members who can play an active role within their group and have returned to play again and again! Please be aware though that at least one adult (18+) is required to be part of the team at all times.

Please note: There is no upper age limit, however, our ‘KIDNAPPED: CAPTIVE AUDIENCE’ game at the Pentagon Shopping Centre involves more physical activity than our other games. There are a few steps involved at our games based within the St. George Hotel.

To the best of our knowledge, you can’t play comparable games anywhere in Kent for less than you can with Escape Plan LIVE… we have always tried to make our experiences as affordable as possible and continue to do so – especially during these difficult times!

To allow Escape Plan LIVE to run as smoothly as possible we have tried to take as many complications out of the booking and reception process as possible. To do so, we are not providing any discounts which require checking upon arrival - however we are offering tickets at the lowest price possible so, rather than some guests losing a concession, everyone is gaining a concession!

We sure can! In fact, having accommodated team-building events for 600 players we like to think large groups are a speciality of ours. We also have one of the largest indoor games we know of in the UK.

The more people involved in a booking, the cheaper the cost per person (see ‘GAMES’ page for details).

There are also large group discounts, as well as offers for those booking consecutive games (see ‘CORPORATE’ page for details).

Yes! Escape Plan LIVE vouchers make ideal gifts as they are unusual, imaginative and are appropriate for so many age groups. Escape Plan LIVE is also one of the few games that families and couples can play together, working as a team making the most of each others strengths. Yes… so long as this does not exceed the maximum capacity of the game you have booked. Please be aware that it's cheaper and saves time to book for the correct number of people initially. If you do need to add extra people at a later date this would be at the original ‘per player price’ for the new team members(s) rather than the difference between the total cost. See our price list on the Games Page for examples and details on how to do this.

Definitely! Escape Plan LIVE has proven very popular with companies of all sizes as it is an ideal team building exercise, encouraging groups to work together, promoting leadership, and identifying skills and strengths… oh, and it’s great fun too! Corporate bookings have been so successful at Escape Plan LIVE that we have created a super-duper game which is perfect for larger groups, and we can cater for meals too. Whilst for your own enjoyment, as well as that of other guests all mobile phones, cameras or any other recording device must be turned off for the duration of your visit, however you will be able to download a FREE* Escape Plan LIVE group digital photo.

Our games are suitable for most disabled people unless the disability is severe. Whilst some problems or tasks may prove difficult, there are enough that they can be shared between a group and distributed by ability. Similarly, there should be no issues for pregnant women as the tasks are not physically demanding. However, if you have any specific concerns please email us as we’ll be pleased to advise you. Please make it clear when booking and upon arrival if you require assistance.

Our games based within the St George Hotel are accessible via a lift and require only a few additional steps to gain access.

Nope. Once you have arrived at Escape Plan LIVE all the facilities are undercover. Assuming there are no local natural disasters, we’ll be there come rain or shine. In fact this is part of what makes Escape Plan LIVE such a safe bet in the good old UK as bad weather cannot ruin your fun.

There’s no need to worry! Whilst we appreciate a scenario from which you need to escape can sound scary, there really is nothing to be frightened of. Ours games are not designed to cause discomfort or anxiety, and you will not be kept in complete darkness for long periods. You will never be in any danger, and staff will be monitoring the game for your safety.

Not on our watch! An atmosphere in which you cannot only have fun, but can also think clearly and communicate with your group is essential, and so all game spaces are visible and checked regularly to ensure everyone is safe and enjoying themselves.

Whilst there are interactions in some of our games - don't let your fear of being chased or cornered put you off as this will not happen.

Whilst Escape Plan LIVE is not rough or physically demanding, we'd recommend avoiding wearing your finest glad rags when playing our games (especially for ‘KIDNAPPED: CAPTIVE AUDIENCE’). Stilettos should also be avoided (see TERMS AND CONDITIONS for further information). The temperature varies with the season in all of our games, but this is true of games at the Pentagon Shopping Centre in particular - so please dress according to the outside temperature.

Apart from a steady nerve, everything you need to play Escape Plan LIVE will be provided for you and is included in the admission price. Just ensure you dress appropriately, and be aware that mobile phones and recording devices must be turned off for the duration of your time here.

All our games are inside, however they can become warm when used by larger groups, so it's best to dress according to the outside temperature.

Whilst we of course hope you have a great time at Escape Plan LIVE and that you will have nothing but compliments for the team, mistakes can happen and we would like to be able to put them right. In such an event, please tell as at the time so that we can deal with any issues there and then as we’ve not found a problem we couldn’t resolve yet! If you need to let us know after the event please email Escape Plan LIVE as our events are run independently of the St. George Hotel, Dragon Coworking, or The Pentagon Shopping Centre and so their staff will be unable to help you.

We of course hope you can attend the session you’ve booked, but should you be unable to do so you are welcome to send someone else in your place. We cannot however refund tickets.

We’ll do our very best not to disappoint, but in extreme circumstances it may be necessary for Escape Plan LIVE organisers to cancel your booking. Should this happen you will be notified by email as soon as possible, and will of course be refunded in line with our Terms and Conditions.

We will need to see your booking confirmation to allow entry to Escape Plan LIVE, but we’re just as happy for you to show us this on your smart phone if you do not have a printer… or if you just want to save some ink!

Not a problem. Please try and let us know in advance via email and we’ll re-send your booking confirmation free of charge. However we will be unable to do so once there is less than 24 hours before your booking slot.

Don’t worry! Many people don’t as it’s meant to be a challenge… we’ll still let you out! All that matters is that you had fun trying. You can always re-book and try again if you want to.

Some smarty pants may show off and finish their game early! If you do, congratulations are in order as most people don’t. Trials and years of experience have shown that the entire allocated time is usually required, but if you do manage to escape in less time without help - you can proudly say you are one of the few groups to do so!

Currently, all games must be booked in advance online.

As all games must be booked online in advance, cash is not currently a payment option.

Neither food nor drink can be allowed within Escape Plan LIVE without prior arrangement (unless it is provided by staff), however the Pentagon Shopping Centre is full of places to eat and drink! Please do check the shopping centre opening time though as some of our games fall outside of these hours.

For games located at the St. George Hotel, a full range of food and drink can be ordered from their reception bar, with snacks available from their vending machine.

Whilst Escape Plan LIVE does not sell food or drink and neither can be allowed inside our games without prior arrangement, The Pentagon Shopping Centre is home to many places to eat and drink! Please do check the shopping centre opening times though as some of our games fall outside of these hours.

For games located at the St. George Hotel, a full range of food and drink can be ordered from their reception bar, with snacks available from their vending machine.

Yes, toilet facilities are available both before and after your game. Whether you’re too excited, too nervous, or just forgot to go before you left home - there’s no need to worry... you’ll USUALLY be able to take a tinkle before and after your game. Please do so though, as once you’re in the game, you’ll only be able to leave in an emergency so as to not disturb other games. An important exception to this is for certain game times at the Pentagon Shopping Centre as the toilet facilities are situated within the shopping centre, so please check its opening times and plan your trip accordingly.

There is plenty of parking available at both venues. Please see the 'LOCATION' page for a map and for more details. It should be noted that visitors park at their own risk. Please ensure any parking charges are paid to avoid fines.
